The position requires a Bachelor?s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or a related field, or equivalent experience.? A Master?s degree in a relevant area of study is preferred.??? The individual should have at least 10 years of progressive experience in financial and accounting management on a "Hands On" basis. CPA certiication would be a plus.??Experience in health care firms and/or not-for-profit organizations would be helpful. The candidate should possess knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting, and cost control principles including Generally Accepted Accounting Principles and knowledge of automated financial and accounting reporting systems. ?Knowledge of federal and state financial regulations is required. The candidate should have the ability to analyze financial data and prepare financial reports, statements and projections plus contain a working knowledge of short and long term budgeting and forecasting, rolling budgets, and product-line profitability analysis. The candidate should be accomplished in accounting management and expert in the financial accounting standards and practices; project management accounting is a strong desire. The individual should possess a demonstrated in-depth knowledge of financial compliance, policies, practices, and related regulations; demonstrated experience in developing/implementing workflow processes, budgeting, and facilitating/driving innovation, problem resolution, and achievement of results through mentoring, cross-functional coordination, and team development/management.? The incumbent must display a professional demeanor, and demonstrate clear goal orientation and a strong work ethic.? Experience in leading and/or participating in the integration of technology developments into finance and accounting operations is desired.? A high level of confidence, honesty, integrity, interpersonal skills, and professional executive presence for influencing others, as well as for facilitating meeting/conducting speaking/presentations is required.? He/she must be able to build and foster relationships by reinforcing trust, respect, and confidentiality and demonstrating high standards of tact, diplomacy, and discretion.? The selected candidate must have solid decision-making skills, as well as the ability to handle complex situations and demonstrate sound judgment/strategic thinking while managing multiple, changing, and conflicting priorities with time sensitive deliverables as well as demonstrated propensity to be creative, proactive and self-motivated.? Business acumen, along with excellent organizational, project management, negotiation, mediation, analytical, problem-solving and communication (written and oral) skills, with excellent speaking ability in fluent English is required.? Required technical proficiency includes the use of Microsoft Computer skills required include Excel, Word, Windows 2010, Solomon financial system.
