>> as jim says, i think this is really an attempt by the israelis to enhance their security by bluffing iran. i don't think it makes such sense with their very limited conventional air power to go after the iranians. 72 sites. they got seven aircrafts only that can do air to air refueling . i think they worsen the situation. they lend themselves to massive m missle attack. we'll end up in probable iranian reaction. this isn't a good situation. this is probably not a good time to imploy military power by the i israelis or the u.s.

>> it's a very fine line. there's no way the united states could not be dragged into hostilities. the prospect for a regional war is very high. it would be very hard for the united states to stay out of that if something like that happens. it all comes back to i think this is still political maneuvering because within the israeli government there's great doubt whether there's capability do execute the strikes in any way that would be effective.
