Basic/Required Qualifications
Legally authorized to work in the United States
Bachelors Degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, Advertising, Marketing or other applicable field
5+ years of External/Internal or Strategic Communications Experience
Proven expertise and experience working with news media
Proficient in MS Word and PowerPoint
Willingness to travel as needed
Preferred Qualifications
Senior-level communications experience in oil & gas industry, or in major company with global reach
Masters degree in communications, journalism, public relations, advertising, marketing or related degree
Demonstrated excellent written and oral communication skills, news judgment, and knowledge of domestic and international media environments
Adept at expertly utilizing all means of communications (web, written, oral, etc.)
Experience in both external and internal communications functions
Proven leadership ability in collaborative team environment
Experience managing multiple projects and working in a collaborative team environment
Excellent work ethic and attention to detail
Adaptable and flexible to changing conditions
Proven leadership skills
Strong SAP skills and proficient in Microsoft Office, Quality Center and Business Objects
Ability to identify, suggest and implement changes.
